God Loves You

You have eternal value according to God!

God is love according to the Scriptures (1 John 4:8, 16).  God loves the whole world! God loves the sinner, but He hates the sin because our sins separate us from Him.  God created everything and everyone.  Therefore, God is our Creator, but He is not our Father until we become reconciled back to Him by faith in His Son Jesus as Savior.  We need a Savior from our sins and Jesus is that Savior, the Only Savior (Luke 2:11, 1 Tim. 2:5).

God out of His infinite love and mercy sent His Son Jesus to come into the Earth and make a sacrificial and substitutionary payment for the sins of the whole world in order to restore and reconcile sinners back to God.  When any individual believes (trusts) the Gospel of their salvation (trusting that Jesus is God who shed His sinless blood for payment of their sins, died and rose again), then they are born into the family of God (reconciled back to God becoming His spiritual child) and saved forever. (see John 1:12, 1 Cor. 15:1-4, Gal. 3:26, Eph. 1:12-14)

Now please note, as a child of God you have infinite worth and value! God cares about every area of your life and He wants you to experience the joy and peace which only He can offer. (Matt. 10:29-31, John 10:10, 15:7-11, Rom. 5:1-11, Phil. 4:6-7, Col. 3:12-17, 1 Pet. 1:3-9, 1 John 1:1-4)

You have no need to fear anything in this physical life.  Anxiety, loneliness, despair, and all negative emotions are not a part of God's will for your life.  God can eliminate these areas of concern in your life if you will look to Him and focus on His Truth and Presence.

"The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous (saved - children of God), and his ears are open unto their cry." - Psalm 34:15

King David had many troubles and fears but He always looked to the Lord for comfort in need. He goes on to say....

"The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (crushed and broken) spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." - Psalm 34:17-19

Notice the last sentence of the above passage of Scripture.  Believers in Christ are not exempt from troubles in this world.  However, we have the power and source to overcome any and all troubles!  We have God on our side! (Rom. 8:31, 2 Tim. 1:7, 1 Pet. 5:7)

The Apostle Paul states, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril (danger), or sword?" - Romans 8:35

The answer is nothing! Notice the remainder of verses:

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:37-39

Know that you are loved fiercely by God Himself, and He is with you always! (Psa. 50:15, 86:7, John 14:16-18, 2 Cor. 1:3-4, Heb. 13:5)

The purpose of a Christian is to reproduce oneself. “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise” (Prov. 11:30).
