Do You Know the Truth?

To know the truth, start with Jesus.

Before the Crucifixion took place, Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?” – John 18:38

Jesus did not answer him, but He could have told Him that He is Truth, as He had disclosed in other instances.

Speaking to His disciple Thomas, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6

Speaking to a Jewish audience, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32

Jesus Christ is Truth! His life is truth for your body, soul and spirit. His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection are truth for you to trust in and receive eternal life. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

John the Baptist said, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” – John 1:29

Jesus said, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” – John 5:39

Jesus said, “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” – John 6:63

Jesus speaking to God, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” – John 17:17

The Psalmist David replied, “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” – Psalm 25:5

“For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.” – Psalm 33:4
