That same faith you applied when you trusted in the sinless, shed blood of Jesus Christ to forgive you of all your sins; use that same faith in your everyday Christian life! That same faith you applied when you rested in the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; use that same faith every day to conquer the meaningless, trivial issues of everyday life!
Our sins are forgiven, and we have new life to serve Christ on a daily basis! We have new life to claim God’s promises everyday!
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
Always be ready to share Christ with another individual. The Apostle Peter says always be ready to give an answer of the hope which is in us!
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” – 1 Peter 3:15
The Greek word for “hope” used here does not mean the same as the English word hope, which can sometimes be referred to as doubt. The word hope used here in the Bible refers to a confident expectation which we know will take place. There is no doubt. I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I know I am going to Heaven because I have the Lord Jesus Christ. I am in Christ and He is in me because I trusted in Him alone as my personal Savior. You can have this same assurance and know too if you trust Him!
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” – 1 John 5:11-13
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” - 1 Peter 1:3-5
God is keeping me saved through Jesus Christ. I have God’s grace because of my faith in Jesus Christ.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9
Faith in Christ’s finished work at Calvary saves an individual. Faith in God’s Promises throughout Scripture strengthens an individual. Faith is the gateway to God.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” – Romans 10:17
