Salvation in 5 Words: Jesus Died for my Sins

Every individual needs to understand the Gospel and make a clear conscious choice: Trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins or reject Jesus remaining condemned in your sins. This choice needs to be made now because no one knows when they will breathe their last breath. “Behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.” – 2 Cor. 6:2

Every human being is born a sinner and separated from God because of their sin (Psa. 51:5, Rom. 3:23, 6:23). God is your Creator, but He is not your Heavenly Eternal Father until you place your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins (John 1:12, Gal. 3:26). The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the "good news" that the perfect Son of God, Jesus Christ, died for all the sins of the whole world (your sins, my sins, the world’s sins), and that He rose from the dead, abolishing the penalty for sin and fulfilling God the Father’s requirement for everlasting life in Heaven. Jesus paid our sin debt to God paving a way for us to be reconciled to God through faith in Him. Trust in Jesus for salvation.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” – 1 Cor. 15:1-4

For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” – 2 Cor. 5:21

And be found in him (Jesus), not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith” – Phil. 3:9

There are only 2 choices: Trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins or reject Jesus remaining condemned in your sins.

He that believeth (trusts) on him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed (trusted) in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” – John 3:18

If you reject Jesus and die without ever placing your faith in Him for the forgiveness of your sins, you are rejecting the only provision for your eternal salvation.

To reject Jesus is to reject God - Jesus says, “ye believe in God, believe also in me.” – John 14:1 Rejecting Jesus means you will not be able to know God in a personal way.

To reject Jesus, you are rejecting His forgiveness of your sins - All the sins you’ve committed against God will be held against you when you die (Rom. 6:23). Every sin you commit is a sin against God. “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man (Jesus Christ) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” – Acts 13:38-39 “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Jesus).” – Acts 26:18 “In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” – Eph 1:7

To reject Jesus, you are rejecting the only way to Heaven - You will not make it to Heaven when you die if you never placed your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. “In my Father's house (Heaven) are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you (home in Heaven). And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:2-6 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” – 1 Pet. 1:3-5

To reject Jesus is to utilize your free will in opposition of Him, rejecting everlasting life – God gave you freedom to think, rationalize, and choose. You are choosing to live your life apart from God and He will honor your poor choice. God will not force His will upon you. He will not force you to live in Heaven with Him for eternity. If you die without ever placing your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, you will spend eternity separated from God (eternal separation from God is Hell). “He that believeth (trusts) on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him (God’s Judgment upon you for your sins resulting in eternal separation from Him in Hell).” – John 3:36

Don’t make the worse decision of your life! It will affect you not only in this life but for eternity. Trust Jesus Christ for your salvation.

Salvation in 5 Words - Trust in Jesus for salvation.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth (trusts) in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” – John 3:16-17

Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” – Rev. 22:17
