Giving the Gospel

Go ye into all the world.

Jesus’ last words before ascending back to Heaven from Earth were, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

The power that the Holy Spirit provides to believers is the ability to open up our mouths and share our faith in Christ with others. Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15

Are you afraid to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to lost people? Every person needs to hear the salvation message of Jesus Christ! God would not have commanded us to do something if He was unwilling to help us along the way. The Holy Spirit of God will assist you in opening up your mouth to share your faith with others. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

God gave His one and only Son to die brutally on the cross for all mankind’s sins! He offers salvation freely to all who would put their trust in Jesus as their personal Savior. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12:2

If Jesus was willing to temporarily give up His Glory on our behalf, the least we can do is tell someone about Him! Jesus Christ died. That’s history. Jesus Christ died for me. That’s Salvation! Share the Gospel with someone today.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” – John 3:16
